554. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will consider collecting commerical road tax on heavy vehicles once per year, rather than every three months or six months, to reduce administration costs and given that the liability has been reduced. [39560/15]

While the operation of the motor tax system is kept under regular review, I have no plans currently to raise the threshold below which vehicles must be taxed annually. The current threshold is €119.
