883. To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if the six United States of America Marine Corps F18 Hornet fighter aircraft which were making the journey from the Middle East back to the United States of America via the United Kingdom on 21 October 2015, when one of them crashed in Cambridgeshire in England, had been given permission to overfly Irish airspace; if they had been granted permission to overfly on their outward journey; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
