693. To ask the Minister for Health the steps taken to ensure every person has prompt access to good quality palliative and end-of-life care when he or she requires it; his plans for counties Laois, Offaly, Longford, and Westmeath, which have no level 3 hospice, despite the excellent work of the local hospice groups in maintaining these services, and which have the lowest level of regional State investment in palliative care nationally; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
