194. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question No. 32 of 13 October 2015, when a jobseeker's allowance will be paid, given that the person (details supplied) has attended the local office in Dún Laoghaire on numerous occasions, but who has been turned away for not having a national passport, despite having grown up and been educated here, and having been previously in receipt of this allowance; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The person concerned has made no application or contacted the local office in relation to a Jobseekers claim. She has a public service card which is sufficient for identity purposes and therefore does not require production of her passport. The person concerned may contact her local office to make an appointment to assess eligibility to a jobseeker's claim.
