To ask the Minister for Health the response from the Health Service Executive following letters from a solicitor dated 2 July 2013, 27 February 2014 and 28 March 2014 raising very serious concerns regarding a deceased person (details supplied) and how this person was at risk of dying; the direct action taken to address the most extreme concerns raised by the letters, which were forwarded to the executive from the Minister's office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand from the HSE that the Dublin South City area is investigating the issues raised in the letters itemised above and a response may be expected in the near future.
