I thank the Deputy for his question and note that I have met the organisation to which he refers on a number of occasions.

The organisation referred to by the Deputy submitted a proposal to Dublin North East Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force earlier this year for a Family Support Programme to provide a specific service for at risk families in the Task Force area. On the basis of the Task Force recommendation, the Department of Health approved an allocation of €46,443 from the Drugs Initiative for 2015 to enable the organisation to set up the new service with effect from 1 March. This organisation has also been allocated a total of €340,384 by the Health Service Executive to support the delivery of drugs services in 2015.
