No specific information has been brought to the attention of my Department regarding flawed titles resulting from transactions during the recent economic boom. Under the Registration of Deeds and Title Acts 1964 and 2006, the Property Registration Authority has statutory responsibility for the registration of titles in the State. In exercising its statutory functions, the Authority operates in accordance with legislation, relevant case law and its own Practice Directions.
