The Earning, Hours and Employment Costs Survey (EHECS) is the source of earnings and labour costs data for Ireland.
The most recent final results available are for quarter 1 2015.
EHECS collects gross earnings and labour costs at firm level and thus cannot provide data on net earnings.
The gross average weekly earnings for production workers, in the Industrysector (NACE B-E), in firms with 3 or more employees, in Quarter 1 2015 is estimated to be €654.85. This is the equivalent of the gross average industrial wage.
An annual average earnings for production workers in the Industry sector is not produced. However, using four quarterly estimates an annual average can be derived.
The derived gross annual average earnings for production workers in the Industry sector for 2014 is €35,349.
