613. To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of the 49 prisoners released under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement who were serving life sentences; the number of those released serving life sentences through this process who were subsequently re-called to prison for breach of a condition following their release; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that in total there were 57 releases following consideration by the Release of Prisoners Commission and as a result of the Good Friday Agreement. Twenty of those persons were serving life sentences, none of whom have been returned to prison custody following their release.
