343. To ask the Minister for Defence the most up to date figures for the strength of the Reserve Defence Forces; the gender break-down of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29877/15]

The tables below set out the effective strength of th e Reserve Defence Force as of 30 June, 2015, the latest date for which figures are available, in both the Army Reserve and the Naval Service Reserve broken down by rank and gender.
