264. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 98 of 12 June 2014, the outcome of the application for legal cost made by the Commission for Public Service Appointments; if he will detail the amount the proceeding has cost to date; his views on whether an alternative dispute resolution mechanism may have been more cost effective in dealing with the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the costs arising from the Commission for Public Service Appointments' successful defence of a Judicial Review case have not yet been settled and have been referred to the Taxing Master. I consider therefore that it would be inappropriate for me to comment on this matter pending the conclusion of the hearing on costs.
