To ask the Minister for Health his views on the recommendations of the international working group’s model for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology for congenital heart disease for the island of Ireland; if he is committed to the recommendation for the expansion and updating of the cardiac intensive care unit capacity in Dublin to at least ten fully staffed beds; the estimated cost of this particular recommendation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
