The delivery of the building project at the school referred to by the Deputy has been devolved to the Louth Meath Education and Training Board.
In June, the ETB received approval from my Department to award the contract. It is envisaged that work will commence on site shortly.

The tendering process for PPP Bundle 5, which includes the school to which the Deputy refers, has reached the selection of the Preferred Tenderer stage with selection scheduled to be finalised in August. The targets of having a contract in place with the Preferred Tenderer by February 2016 remains with construction scheduled to begin immediately thereafter.

I wish to advise the Deputy that officials in my Department have been working with officials from Meath County Council in relation to the identification and acquisition of a suitable permanent site for the school to which he refers.
Subsequent to appraisal of options, a suitable site option has been identified and is being progressed. Given the commercial sensitivities associated with land acquisitions generally, I am not in a position to comment further at this time.
I can, however, assure the Deputy that the acquisition of a new site for the school is a priority for my Department.
