28. To ask the Minister for Health if he is aware that there is no respite facility in County Kildare for children who are under seven years of age, who have significant physical, emotional and behavioural challenges, and who require full-time adult supervision; that County Kildare is the fourth most populous county in the State with a very significant need in this area; the measures he proposes to address this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy's question relates to service matters, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive (HSE) for direct reply to the Deputy. If the Deputy has not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days, she can contact my Private Office and they will follow the matter up with the HSE.
