To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide urgent consideration to the request of the Irish Road Haulage Association (details supplied) on the need to reduce costs in this sector, given its importance to the overall economy and the challenges facing this sector from haulage operators in other jurisdictions; if the level of motor taxation will be reduced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
