My Department has provided almost €26.5 million in the delivery of major building projects (new schools and large scale extensions) to counties Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo over the period 2012 to end June 2015.

Over the period in question a total of nine major school building projects (new schools and large scale extensions) have been completed including two PPP projects. In addition a further seven major school building projects have been given approval to proceed to tender and construction and three of these projects are currently under construction with the remainder advancing towards the construction phase.
