To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will outline to Irish Water, the concerns of the residents of Balbriggan in County Dublin, in regard to the quality of the potable water in the town; the plans Irish Water has to reduce the level of limescale in the water. Since 1 January 2014 Irish Water has statutory responsibility for all aspects of water services planning, delivery and operation at national, regional and local levels for public water services including the delivery of water services capital infrastructure. Irish Water has established a dedicated team to deal with representations and queries from public representatives.
