Department officials have contacted the HSE about this matter. The HSE has explained that the Deputy's original questions sought information about the Rural Practice Allowance covering the past ten years and specifically requested information about average payments for each of those ten years for all GPs in receipt of a Rural Practice Allowance. The HSE has advised that the provision of this information requires a significant amount of analysis. The Executive has stated that it is working to provide the data as soon as possible and will forward it directly to the Deputy when available.
