54. To ask the Minister for Social Protection if and when rent support will be restored in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who has been accused of cohabiting, who strongly refutes this accusation, who has three dependent children who are now suffering hardship as a result, and who is likely to be forced to vacate the family's rented property; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The rent supplement for the client concerned is currently suspended as their One-Parent Family Payment has ceased and her case referred to the Appeals Unit for review. Should this payment be reinstated, the client's Rent Supplement, to include any arrears due, can issue accordingly.
