To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if she will provide an update on the procedures for Form 104 reporting by gardaí to the Central Statistics Office, particularly the manner in which the procedures apply to the recording of suicide statistics; if any difficulties have been identified by Garda management with either the reporting process or the use of the classification system for identifying cause of death; if there are reporting timelines; if there has been any recent study into the overall effectiveness of this element of suicide reporting; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
