247. To ask the Minister for Social Protection when a decision on a disability allowance will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [20799/15]

In order to determine the circumstances of the person in question, her file was forwarded to her local Social Welfare Inspector. S/he will arrange to meet with the person concerned as soon as possible.

A final decision on her entitlement to disability allowance will be given on receipt of the Social Welfare Inspectors report. The person in question will be notified directly of the outcome.
