942. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he is precluded, under section 30 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, from exercising power or control over property within the ownership of Monaghan County Council, in view of the fact that the Council is also the local planning authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As stated in my reply to Questions No. 206 and 207 of 14 May, under section 30 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, I am specifically precluded from exercising any power or control in relation to any particular case, with which a planning authority or An Bord Pleanála is or may be concerned.
