To ask the Minister for Health the reason there is a delay in paying a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22 the redundancy payment due following an Employment Appeals Tribunal finding issued on 25 February 2015, and signed off by a person in the Health Service Executive that week, given that nearly three months have elapsed since the finding. To ask the Minister for Health the cost to the Health Service Executive and his Department in defending cases in the Employment Appeals Tribunal for each of the past five years; the firms that are employed by the Executive and his Department in such cases; if this work is tendered for and the way it is tendered for. I can confirm that my Department has not defended any cases in the Employment Appeals Tribunal in the past five years.
