488. To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 313 of 25 November 2014, when physiotherapy services will be available in the Kildare and west-Wicklow area for children with referrals from rheumatoid paediatricians; and in view of the long delays experienced by children in accessing treatment as a result of the withdrawal of these services by Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin 12, the steps he is taking to ensure that, in the future, services will not be withdrawn by hospitals before appropriate alternatives are available at community level; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the information requested by the Deputy relates to service issues, I have asked the Health Service Executive to reply directly to the Deputy on these matters. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them.
