I can confirm that my Department has an application on file from the school, to which the Deputy refers, for a General Purpose (GP) room.

My Department's focus in recent years has been on prioritising the funding available for the provision of essential classroom accommodation. It is not therefore possible to provide an indicative timeframe for the provision of funding for additional accommodation for the school in question at this time.

As the Deputy is aware, my Department approved significant funding to the school in question to provide an extension comprising 2 x 80m2 Mainstream Classrooms and 2 x 16m2 Resource Rooms to replace prefab units. This additional permanent accommodation will significantly enhance the school's accommodation position.
