143. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to improve data protection for taxi drivers and their licences in order to make it harder for criminals to clone licences or to access sensitive details on drivers, which may be exploited. [16510/15]

The regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013, including matters pertaining to data protection for SPSV drivers and their licences.
