To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if and when the Road Safety Authority website database of Ireland road collisions will be updated with details of such events that have occurred since the site was last updated for 2012; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Research Department of the Road Safety Authority (RSA) is in the process of completing the validation of information relating to all fatal, serious and minor injury collisions which occurred in 2013, in line with their statutory obligations. The RSA plans to publish the Road Collision Factbook for 2013 and also to update the map of collision data (Collstats) by the end of July 2015. In the meantime, there is a provisional review of road crash fatalities for both 2013 and 2014 available on the RSA website at . These reports contain a comprehensive overview of the main trends observed in fatal collisions over the last two years, based on provisional information.
