To ask the Minister for Health the progress in relation to the recruitment of a general practitioner to service the general medical services scheme for Gortnahoe, County Tipperary, arising from the retirement of a doctor (details supplied); the number of applications received from medical card holders requesting to transfer to another general practitioner; the number of applications approved; if clients requesting a transfer, arising from the Health Service Executive letter of the 29 September 2014, and for reason of an urgent nature, will be given priority consideration; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
