To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government the number of estates which have applied to be taken in charge by Galway City Council and Galway County Council and are waiting for approval; the number that have been approved and taken over by Galway City Council and Galway County Council in the past 12 months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. According to the 2013 Report on Service Indicators in Local Authorities, which was published by the Local Government Management Agency in December 2014, the following are the most recent details in relation to the taking in charge of housing estates in Galway City and County.
