The person concerned recently received an exceptional needs payment of €1500 towards the cost of funeral expenses. A review of this decision was conducted by the Designated Person and the decision has remained unchanged. It is open to the person concerned to seek a review of this decision by writing to the SWA Review Officer, Social Welfare Local Office, 9th Lock Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, who will conduct an independent examination of the circumstances of the case and the decision, and determine if any further assistance may be given. The contact information of the SWA Review Officer has also been forwarded by post to the person concerned.
