An Garda Síochána has a range of strategies in place in relation to theft from farms, including in relation to livestock and machinery and metal theft. I have sought a specific report from the Garda authorities in relation to the Deputy's queries concerning the Co Louth area and I will contact him directly when this report is to hand.
