In general, all issues in relation to leases for Government Departments/Offices, including my Department, are a matter for the Office of Public Works. There is one building in Athenry which is leased by my Department at an annual cost of €80,000, plus campus charges.

The lease agreement runs for five years with effect from November 2012. There are currently 36 staff from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine in the leased Athenry property.
