The Quarterly National Household Survey (QNHS) is the official source of estimates of unemployment in the State. The most recent figures available are for Q4 2014. Estimates of unemployment are produced by NUTS 3 Regions. Due to methodology and sample size it is not possible to produce reliable electoral district estimates from the QNHS.

The table below shows the unemployment rate of persons aged 15 years and over, ranked in order highest to lowest, classified by NUTS3 region in Q4 2014.
