158. To ask the Minister for Health the overall spend on health by the State; and by private; and out-of-pocket payments; in the past five years, broken down by year. [7254/15]

Total health expenditure for each of the last 5 years, by public, private health insurance and out-of-pocket payments by households, are detailed in the table below. Figures are presented in millions of Euro. Estimates of private health insurance and out-of-pocket health expenditure are compiled by the Central Statistics Office.
