To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she will ensure that priority will be provided, when appointing examination supervisors for the State examinations, to recently qualified teachers, who are in non-permanent or short-hours teaching contracts, or who depend mainly on substitute work; if she will address the correspondence (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.
