The Minister is aware of the clear evidence of the importance of art in health, wellness and well-being. Art therapy is frequently used in mental health services. The Minister has no specific plans in relation to policy development related to art. The Minister has referred this Parliamentary Question to the mental health services in the Health Service Executive for their additional response. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them.
