The Department has availed of the services of public relations firms for some health promotion campaigns in areas like smoking cessation, alcohol awareness, men's health, obesity and breastfeeding. Work carried out by these companies included public awareness and communications campaigns, as well as advertising and consumer research. Details are set out as follows:
