To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide the details of the rheumatology registrar post in Connolly Hospital, Dublin 15, that is externally funded; the source of funding for the post; if funding in this manner will be introduced in other areas; if it is the case that it is funded by a pharmaceutical firm; if so, the steps that have been taken to ensure that this does not affect patient care; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
