The Freedom of Information (FOI) request referred to by the Deputy was submitted to the Health Service Executive (HSE), not to the Department. In this instance under FOI legislation, the HSE is responsible for the request so I have asked the HSE to reply directly to the Deputy on the matter. If the Deputy has not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days he can contact my Private Office and the matter will be followed up.

The Deputy will be aware that there is an appeals provision within the Freedom of Information Act if a request is not answered within the statutory time frame.
