To ask the Minister for Health to detail the number of patients awaiting step-down beds in Naas General Hospital for each of the past 20 weeks; the number of such patients facilitated in nursing homes in the Kildare area over the same period; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter it has been referred to the Health Service Executive for direct reply. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them.
