I propose to take Questions Nos. 261 and 262 together.

I have been informed by IDA Ireland that in the 6 year period from 2009 to 2014, inclusive, there were a total of 2,076 IDA sponsored site visits by potential investors to various locations throughout the country. The attached tabular statement (A) sets out, on a county by county basis, the number of site visits paid in each of the years 2009 to 2014.

The attached tabular statement (B) sets out, on a county by county basis, the total numbers employed in IDA Ireland client companies in each of the years 2009 to 2014 inclusive, of whichon average, approximately 10% are employed on short term contracts or part time hours.

During 2014, there were 15,012 gross new jobs created in IDA Ireland client companies.Taking job losses into account a total of over 7,000 net new jobs were created in the Agency’s client companies bringing the total employment in client companies up to 174,488 the highest level on record.
