To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the way a person who did not finish their electrical apprenticeship, but who has been working and practising with different electrical companies may become accredited; if it is necessary to go back to college; the avenues open to such a person outside of returning to college; and if she will make a statement on the matter. This is an operational matter for SOLAS, who manage the apprenticeship programme and associated recognition of prior learning. I have asked them to contact the Deputy directly with the information he has requested.
