The major building project for the school referred to by the Deputy is currently at an advanced stage of architectural planning - Stage 2(b), which includes the securing of all statutory approvals and completion of tender documents.

Following an appeal to An Bord Pleanála planning permission was granted. However, a Judicial Review of the decision by An Bord Pleanála was initiated by a third party in mid 2014. A decision on the Judicial Review is awaited. My Department must await the outcome of the Judicial Review before progressing the building project further.
