766. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if a school (details supplied) in County Kildare may permanently remain in the school in which it is currently occupying; if not, the reasons for same; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [49596/14]

The school referred to by the Deputy relocated temporarily to the premises it is now occupying to allow repair works, caused by storm damage, to be carried out on its own school premises. The arrangement for this relocation was made by the school Patron and these works are expected to be completed in May.

The building in question will accommodate the planned new post primary school in Naas that is due to open in September 2015.

My Department is currently assessing the long-term accommodation needs of the school referred to by the Deputy and is liaising with the Patron in this regard.
