One further appeal has been received by the Peatlands Council since my reply to the Question referred to by the Deputy. Appeals will be dealt with in accordance with the process outlined in that reply, once the final Terms of Reference have been agreed. In that regard, the Council at its meeting on 9 December agreed to a full Terms of Reference in relation to its appeals function. These have now been submitted to me for formal agreement and I anticipate that this process will be brought to a conclusion shortly.
