To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if when FÁS centres were transferred to educational training boards there was a formal statement of all assets and liabilities transferred; if so, if this statement was agreed by her Department and the education training boards of management; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The transfer of assets and liabilities from SOLAS to the Education and Training Boards is covered by legislation. The fixed asset buildings of SOLAS including their contents were transferred to the Education and Training Boards by Ministerial Order as provided for in the Further Education and Training Act 2013. A full list of assets and liabilities was provided to each Education and Training Board and agreed and formally signed off by the relevant Education & Training Board and SOLAS.
