The commissioning of artistic features on road projects under the 'Per Cent for Art' scheme is a matter for the local authority concerned in conjunction with the National Roads Authority.

The overall responsibility for the Per Cent for Art scheme rests with the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
