The Central Bank has informed me that it does not collect data on the number of mortgages in securitisation SPVs. However, data is available on the value of mortgage loans that have been transferred from Irish resident banks to securitisation vehicles. This data is published in Table A.18.2 on the Central Bank's website: .

This table shows that securitised loans serviced by Irish resident credit institutions amounted to €38 billion in June 2014.

The Central Bank cannot specify individual securitisation vehicles for confidentiality reasons.

As I said in a reply to PQ 42363 on 5 November, information from company announcements in the public domain, would suggest that between 8,000 and 10,000 mortgages in total have been sold to unregulated entities in recent years.
