To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will provide in tabular form the names of outside companies hired by his Department in relation to the Eircode project since its inception; the duration of contract; the costs per company; the overall total costs to date for outside consultants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A contract was signed with Capita Business Support Services Ireland Limited in December 2013 to develop and roll out the National Postcode System over a 10 year period. Total spend to date on that contract is €3.22 million. Aside from the contract with Capita, the table below includes all costs from 2010 to date associated with the National Postcode System.
