The Deputy will appreciate that it would not be appropriate for me to comment on the outcome of individual court proceedings and that I have no role in the prosecution of offences. I am, however, informed by the Garda authorities that they are currently considering the outcome of the recent court proceedings referred to by the Deputy and I have asked to be kept informed of the outcome of this consideration.
